aren't cousins the BEST? one of my chicago cousins works in the design field and was thoughtful enough to send a smidge of osborne and little fabric my way.
i scoured my "to do tunnel" in search of a smidge-worthy spot....
|the "spot" before|
with drawers, doors and raised panels, this piece called for a sleeker finish that wouldn't compete with the lines so i needed to start with a smooth surface. i know i don't NEED to sand or strip prior to applying annie sloan chalk paint but--dudes, what to do about deep divots? a topcoat like this eats 20 bucks worth of sandpaper before spitting out some raw wood, so helllllloooo citra strip.
nuh-uh! find your own cousin! mine's busy hunting down more smidges!
i l o v e l o v e L O V E t h i s p i e c e ... and so does macguver.
it might even find a home here:
of course, nightstand and mirror are still waiting in the wings... you know, to be heaved onto a moving truck in a few short weeks... so who the heck knows when they'll find their way to my paint stand.
in the meantime, let's just oogle those legs one more time....
