decor: kitchen appliances

ask and ye shall receive.  i did ...and i did!  thanks for the helpful suggestions and enthusiastic support for the revered subterranean rectangle in white!

subway it will be... i'm pretty sure... especially after i happened upon the below photo example of said backsplash accompanying cabinet/hardware style almost identical to our selections.

lookin' good, dontcha think?

canadian home and garden

moving on to the next decision dilemma...

yesterday macguyver and i sky-rocketed into appliance-overload.  so many choices!  many of them are options and power-levels that i'm not sure i'll ever appreciate considering i turned in my tongs for paint brushes.  how many btu's does my cooktop really need?  do i care that i can have 30 pre-programmed settings on my oven?  i don't think i've cooked 30 different foods in my 6 ovens in 17 years.

not that i'm proud of that or anything.

options aside, our eyes were opened to--hold that headdress!!--white appliances.

hey!  hush that ewww! of yours and check out my sleek and sophisticated photo examples.

uh-huh.. you're thinkin' european and fancy-pants, righto, friends?

have i mentioned that white can often be found at a lower price?

and, i wouldn't have to deal with this..

of course, one must confirm that the various whites align... or else.

with stainless accents and when matched and married in color and style to the cabinets, white appliances can be pretty snazzy...

i think.  you?

I love the idea of white appliances in a white kitchen!

we had white in the last house and i much preferred it to the stainless- much easier to clean and flowed nicely. here we inherited two stainless nice pieces, so we will roll with it, but if we had started from scratch we both agreed we'd rather have white.

I would sooo choose white over stainless. That's what we had/have in our Savannah house. When we moved into this house, it already had stainless steel, so I feel stuck with it.

White = yes!!! And white = no finger print smudges!

What's next? Avocado?? Just kidding, and I'm also not a fan of stainless for the fingerprint-factor. I've seen you pinning all this lusciousness and love the option of white!

Every appliance in my kitchen is stainless and I cannot tell you how much aggravation it causes me! I spend so much time cleaning it- and my kids are grown and gone! Dog noses and a hubby that is a p.i.g. will be my end. And little girls with Miss Me sparkle butts that like to lean against the fridge. Holy hell. Go to the light, Amy. White is your friend. ;)

I missed the decision making process on the subway tiles. Great choice, I have them in my kitchen and I LOVE them. Love white appliance ideas. Although I thought I loved Stainless Steel, my fridge, even the shape of the handles, looks just like yours. And it is a never ending process. Ugh.

To back to the subway debate of 2012 - you could always run them vertically for a different look.

Love the idea of white appliances - but if you're going for something like that fab white viking stove - why stop at white - the color choices are endless!

I like the white, but I also heard that they make stainless appliances now with a coating that prevents fingerprints/smudges. Young House Love got them for their kitchen, so thought I'd pass the info along. Can't wait to see your kitchen reveal!

I agree, the white can be right. But lets not tell my husband ok? I insisted we replace the white with stainless and I hate to eat crow.

Oooooh. White appliances. I would have balked at this choice not that long ago and now that I'm obsessed with gold and have incorporated it through most of my home, I look at my stainless-enhanced kitchen and I'm no longer convinced. I love your inspiration pics and now I'm thinking YES YES GO FOR IT. Gotcha back there, sister.

Without the Internet, it is really hard to buy items such as furniture, clothing, shoes, apparels, equipments, appliances and more! Since the rise of the Internet technology, all of these things are made possible. We can even buy our appliances online even if without going to the local store, we just wait our appliances to be delivered in our home. The most important things to consider in purchasing your appliances online or at the local store are its warranty period, brand name, and price. Make sure that you consider these three important things to ensure you purchase the best appliances. Thank you for sharing this very informative article, keep it up!

Oh, yes...those white ones that are just a bit off from the cabs... total trendsetter there, huh?

Don't think you can go wrong with those white ones that have the stainless accents...best of both worlds, right?

Agreed,I have the "finger prints everywhere" stuff and I'd trade it in a second, especially for those you have pictured...white/with stainless accents! Looking forward to seeing the completed project.

These type of kitchen appliances are very much in trend these days are a must have in every modern kitchen. Induction cooking is faster and much more energy efficient type of cooking than traditional electric way of cooking. The induction cooktop only heats the utensil and allows instant cooking. This way of cooking also reduces the risk of burns because the surface of this burner heated from contact with the pan. Therefore, it is a perfect option for your kitchen if you have small kids. The idea of white appliances is really cool...it is giving the a kitchen a look which is tastefully rich....but white appliances tend to get stained or scratched soon. Thanks for sharing. For appliances repairing part visit www.pandorasoem.com
