second place

i love kuh-nobs and i believe that they can make or break a piece of furniture.

(i may have brought this up a time or two.  or twelve.)

make or break.
                          wow! or whoops.
                                                     oooooh! or awwww.
                                                                                        yum! or yikes.
                                                                                                                 yeah! or yuck.

you gettin' this?

proof???  you want picture proof 'cuz i got picture proof?

(i know, i know... i'm italic obsessed lately.  bear with me... i'm sure it's a phase.)

------ picture proof 1------

jenn's cabinet:

a knock out...

with those kuh-nobs.  gorgeous.

right?  right?

------ picture proof 2------

jenn's cabinet with the "almost" kuh-nobs:

not even close to a knock out.

blah. bland.  blech!

okay, that was going too far.  not exactly blech.

still, i'm right, right?  look closer.

see?  right?  you feel nothin'.  nada.  sure, it's nice and the workmanship is...okay, whatever.  you know what i'm sayin'.

kuh-nobs matter.  they super-matter.

and i so do collages.  collages that prove kuh-nobs matter are best.

collages and kuh-nobs and italics super-matter.

to me.

I totally agree with you! Hardware can make or break a piece. You chose wisely my friend, those knobs are HOT! :)

Very true and this is something I need to work on myself. My problem is finding knobs here where I can look at them and hold them and squeeze them before buying. Ordering is really the only option for new, interesting knobs. Or a can of spray paint and that hasn't proven to be that fantastic. At least for me because I am incapable of spraying anything out of a can including cheeze-wiz...

What I want to know is how do you layer pictures like that? Anthropologie has great knobs and so does World Market!

I need some cute kuh-nobs, that is evident. Thank you for setting me straight. Then I need to get motivated to work on something to put those cool kuh-nobs on. I have seen a few cuties at World Market, just like Barbara said.

Loving that little pop of red ;)

Those kuh-nobs are so hot I want to take them behind the middle school and get 'em pregnant. Okay, too much Thirty Rock, sorry. But for real.

Spot on, my friend. But it takes a gifted eye to see the difference, right? I mean, i see it...and you see it... and we both know we have IT... well, we have something...yo.ho.ho.

See how I put 'something' in italics? just wanted to point that out cuz I'm rockin' the mad HTML skillz now...and I needed to point that out b/c I need someone to notice it, cuz I'm super needy like that...and no one in my house cares...they just want food and more food...
