Sproutin'.

a freebie is perfect for paint experimentation.  this is mine...thank you to my sister-in-law.

yep, it's the molded plastic-ish kind.

prepped for some paint!

originally i was headin' out for the sprayin' kind o' paint, however, our relationship is, historically, unpredictable... and have i mentioned my ranking in the top ten at the "world grudge-holding championships" for holding a go-to-the-grave-grudge against inanimate objects?  yeah, well, i don't like to brag.

anywhoo, in an effort to stay toned and tough i'm clinging tightly to this grudge 'cuz i don't wanna lose my standing or anything.

evil sprayer of unpredictable splotchiness (via)

and have i mentioned my disdain for winter?  (keep that grudge ranking in mind here)

sure, it looks all white and innocent in the pictures but no one talks about the mucky, muddy tracks from kids trying to extend the life of week old snow on a 53 degree day.  nope.

and what is autumn, really, other than a slow introduction to winter?  yep, it's coming and i'm not happy. not. at. all. happy.

brrrr shiver shiver shiver curse.  repeat.
so i'm fightin' back.  yes, i am though i know that it's a losing battle; my nippy november days are a dash more delightful, however, knowing dat da motha of da nature sees that not everyone acquiesces to her willy-nilly swingin' of da seasons.  at least not without some foot stompin'.

this one's for you, momma nat.  sproutin' some go-for-broke-spring green IN 'DA FALL.

ha.

thank you, annie sloan for sendin' antibes green across the vast blue sea.

i lurve that spring-in-its-step green, don't you, miss motha o' da nature?  huh?  how 'bout it?

now that plastic-ish mirror's speakin' sass which is perfect for my cheeky almost-13 'tween who lurves her green.

take that, momma.

(hey...if you do NOT receive a reply to your comment it's probably b/c you have your blogger account set to "NO REPLY".  get on that, peeps!!!)

i love that bright green! I have a few of these big gold mirrors layin around that I haven't gotten around to painting yet (mostly because I've been waiting to buy spray paint.) Perhaps I should just whip out my chalk paint and get it done! By the way... I love the reflection in your mirror and those doors. If that your yard, I'm super jealous :)

Purty!! Spring doesn't feel so far away when I see that color :) I'm still thumbing my nose at Mother Nature by continuing to paint outside in MID-NOVEMBER! Days are numbered though...

I like the color choice. It works great for a small piece like the mirror. Did I mention I LOVE the picture you have of the mirror hanging with the autumn tree in the reflection? Irony. :)

Truly loving this mirror and what a great color. It makes you want to smile when you see it. It's a nice change from all the monotone room you see lately. I love color. Now following you. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving, and thanks so much for sharing at Sunday's Best!

LOVE your attitude! While I like the look of snow, could we just have it at about 75 degrees? The green looks great and the pic with the fall-leafed tree is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing at Sunday's Best. Now following =)
